Hello Razer. I just thought I would create a thread post stating what I would like to see on the next Razer Blade 17. First of all I think Razer is heading in the right direction with the current 2022 Blade 17. I am glad they gave the 17 inch model 8 speakers now and increased the battery capacity to 82 watt hour. I think Razer should remove the single auxiliary fan on the 17 inch and provide us a 95-100 watt hour battery and they should bring back a glossy screen option. I own the 2021 Blade Advanced with the OLED display and I think the 2022 models have a display downgrade. I would love to see Razer build either a 17 inch OLED or a Mini LED 240 HZ glossy option. I really love the 17 inch Blade but there are only small factors that stop me from buying one. Another small thing I would like to see changed on the next 17 inch is the speaker hole gaps. I appreciate how Razer laser cut holes in the chassis now but the left and right side of the Blade 17 still has empty gaps. Apple drills fake holes to keep symmetry and I would love it if Razer did the same. I used to own the 2006 Macbook Pro 17 inch and I feel like it still has better build quality than the current Blade 17.

This is the speaker grille section for an XPS 17. Notice how there is no gap on the left and the right side?

Now this is the current 2022 Blade 17. You see how there is a gap on the left and right side of the speaker holes? This small visual difference makes the premium 17 inch laptop look cheap and not worth the price.
There is another small feature I do not like on the current Blade 17 laptop and that is the hinge vent. I don't like how far out the screen extends from the body, you can see the table it is resting on from the hinge area and that looks really weird. I know that is done for cooling but this is a 17 inch laptop so it already cools better than the 15. Razer should reduce the size of the 17 inch slightly and use Conductonaut on the CPU and GPU to pick up the slack.. The cheaper 15 inch Blade looks premium and the 17 does not because of the hinge gap and the speaker gaps.

On the 15 inch Blade Advanced, the hinge vents are tucked in.
So to summarize what features I recommend for the next Blade 17 is simple. I would like a bigger battery than 82 watt hours since this is a 17 inch, ideally 100 watt hours. Razer can remove the fan that is in the middle of the battery since it is not necessary. The next thing is a better display, the current matte screen offerings are not nice compared to OLED. I would like to see a revised hinge assembly that looks just like the 15 inch model without the hinge vent gap. The most simple change out of this list is drilling fake speaker holes so the speaker section no longer has a gap.
Please take my suggestions seriously. I love Razer and I think they make the best PC laptops right now and I think their build quality is amazing for a PC but just a little behind the elegance of a Macbook Pro. Razer could easily be the best in the business with a few changes to make their laptops more premium. I just think they need small changes for the price we pay.
