Razer Blade 14" 2017 (Intel i7-7700HQ)
Part 1
Hey guys so I unburried my 2017 Razer blade 14 , with the intel i7-7700HQ Gtx1060, This thing was a mess, Ive been trying to get this thing up to date as possible but ive ran into so many issues first off razer tech support was very much so lagging an not really helpful, I also have been trying to find the most up to date bios as there is only one listed on the Legacy section of the razer site.. Ive managed to do a bit of research an got my bios up to Razer Bios version 5.01 5/27/2019, but here is where it gets odd.. my Ec (embedded controller) version is still 1.0 .. not sure if I did something wrong or what Speed Test .. soo with that being said .. Im trying to find the highest bios version I can get to.. and the highest EC version available knowing tech as much as I do I know that when you flash the bios the EC should change as well.. would be hard to believe that the EC stayed at 1.0 as long as it has .. So can anyone get me the right information on the these things.. this is part one ...

Ive been looking at serveral options I might have in the case their is a all else fails mentality sooooo here is what Im asking here Is there serveral or other Razer Motherboards for this laptop that I would be able to "upgrade" to, so to speak that would be the same size same I/O and ports that would be compatible with this Laptop Model.. ?
oden007For the first question since I don’t have the blade anymore I couldn’t answer specifically but yes usually (when I’m correctly remember) you can download latest bios update tools and install it, EC maybe there’s no update for that specific hardware if it stay at 1.0. Second you can’t upgrade it since it’s the last blade 14 form factor I believe from 2016 to 2017 in similar cassis with thunderbolt port and similar io.
