Hello. I’ve been a lifelong turtle beach user. But the final straw was my 3rd pair of Stealth 700 gen 2’s ear cup ended up cracking and inevitably snapped completely off. This has happened with all 3 pairs over time. Full disclosure, I have a big fat head so I’m assuming that’s what’s causing the cracking. My question is how’s the build quality on the blackshark v2 pro. I’m really looking to move on from turtle beach. These look perfect for me in every aspect, I’m just worried about build quality. Looking into getting the Blackshark v2 pros.
I really don’t want to say this, but it appears the Blackshark v2 pros have a simliar issue. I bought a white set of v2 pros for PC gaming and the left join between the ear cup and the headband has broken. I am working through an RMA to replace them. I’ve seen a fair amount of feedback on amazon to this effect, but I presumed some of that was folks beeing too brutal on their gear. I’ve been super cautious with mine and they still snapped. The plastic they use on the joins seems to be too brittle and too thin. Fingers crossed that this second pair coming won’t result in the same issue. For the $200 purchase price, I expected far better.
