What is the stock thermal paste on Razer Blade laptops nowadays?

I made a post the other day that when I bought my Razer Blade 16 2025, I had the reseller repaste it with Noctua NT-H2. Then one guy asked me why I did that since it already comes with Honeywell PTM7958 SP (which lasts longer according to his comment). I then thought oops, did I just shoot myself in the foot?

so is that the thermal paste that comes by default on the new Razer Blade laptops?

How does it compare to Noctua NT-H2 in terms of temps and longevity? I cannot compare obviously as I've repasted mine but my temps are great, the laptop never goes above 90C or thermal throttles with Noctua NT-H2

On a side note, is PTM7958 just a normal thermal paste that lasts longs or is it dangerous like liquid metal where if it drops on the motherboard it might fry it? Is it easy to apply? how long does it normally last before it starts deteriorating in performance?

Yup, PTM7958 should last longer, but the temps IMO should be very similar, maybe 1-2C difference in favor of PTM.

PTM7958 is a normal thermal paste, it doesn’t contain any metal in it, so it’s safe.
