Razer Kraken TE Muffled/Muddy sound with THX

I got these headphones a few days back and after scouring reddit and forums for a fix, I'm at a loss. I got these because of the Spatial THX feature, mainly to use in Siege, but it sounds muddled/low quality. Stereo it sounds completely fine. I've tried repairing, reinstalling, replugging, and it's the same result. If I can only get them to work in stereo. Any ideas?
