Will Power Delivery Damage Laptop

I have the Razer blade 15 base newest model I think 2020. It does not support usb c charging as the advance does. I want to get the Caldigit ts3 plus thunderbolt dock for it since it does support thunderbolt. It does not have an option to turn off powerdelivery that I am aware of. Will it damage my laptop?

oh man, I'd really like to know because I have the same dock and every time I attached it my clock speeds get very weird and more often than not I end up crashing. Even with very little CPU utilization.
