THX has never worked on Razer Kraken

To add yet another thread about THX not working, the THX on my headphones has never worked. They work fine--if in stereo only--when outputting through 'Razer Audio Controller - Chat' but I get no sound in either 'Razer Audio Controller - Game' or 'THX Spatial - Synapse'. When I've got Windows sound options open and play test sounds in either of the latter two output settings, my PC obviously *thinks* that it's outputting audio (I get the little visualization along the volume bar) but I hear nothing. I've tried reinstalling Synapse. I've watched videos on youtube purporting to be able to fix this problem. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions before I write these off as a disappointing loss and buy an Arctis 9?

    Hi there, I myself recently bought a Razer Nari and was facing a similar problem (I am not sure if it will be the same with your Kraken) . I fixed it however and here's how I did so: As attached in the image below, what I did was click on the "SET AS DEFAULT" button in the MIXER tab under the AUDIO tab of Razer Synapse 3 under the THX SPATIAL AUDIO category. https://imgur.com/a/sYSLFvu If you don't see the option, try setting the Windows Default output to something else other than the THX first.
