Razer Thresher Ultimate optical cable

yesterday i bought the Razer Thresher Ultmate for XBOX. But i am having some problems connecting it with my xbox one x. The optical cable wont fit in my xbox one x. Do i need to buy different one? Or what am i doing wrong? i think it should work with xbox one x?! I'm a little bit frustrated. So much money for the headset and i cant set it up

    Nevermind.. I feel like a total idiot... Never used an optical before and did not pull the rubber caps off before trying to insert it... LOL
