No programs appearing under THX spatial audio

I just picked up a new pair of Razer Kraken TEs, and in the Razer synapse application, where it should normally display a list of open applications, it instead just says that "when launched, applications with an audio output will appear in this window." Are there any fixes, or is this normal.

Got this error too, didn't used to happen until I reinstalled Windows.
