Laptop not coming out of sleep and charging LED not working

Hi All, Please help me here. Laptop ran out of battery and now it is not turning on. I have put it on charge but the charging LED is not turning on.

    By this, do you mean the LED on the charger or the laptop? If it's the latter, then there is a good chance that you either have a faulty port or the batter is no longer capable of holding a charge. Does it at least boot when plugged in? Do send me the serial number so I can verify the warranty status. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
