cortex updates now i can't login

i'm logged in just fine on your site. i use my google account. This app is nonsensically confusing when you have login errors. It also prompts me on my phone to login with google, then does nothing when i tap 'yes'. i'm about to uninstall this pain in my ass.

    Why do i need to LOGIN for this laptop to BE a gaming laptop, in the first place. This is sooo buggy... and it runs three services behind the scenes, allllll the time??? screw this. I'm sure windows 10 can handle the perf adjustments.
