"Item serial number is unknown" Help

Hi, I recently bought a Razer Deathadder Chroma. When I tried to key in the serial number, it kept showing this "item serial number is unknown" error. Can somebody help to solve this problem? Thanks.

    There's chance that your DA Chroma is counterfeit (I've seen many of these). Or it can be just some system error, that you cannot register your mouse.

    That's odd. Where did you buy your Razer DeathAdder Chroma? Please let me know through PM. Also, attach a photo of the original box that shows the device’s serial number and a screenshot of the error message to verify it on our system. *Thread locked to curb conversation to PMs.
