Synapse 3, Base Station problems

I'm using a Razer Base Station Chroma as a USB hub/dock for my laptop and I'm having problems after installing Synapse 3. I have a Razer BlackWidow X Chroma, Razer Mamba TE and a Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 all connected to the Base Station. This setup does not have any problems with Synapse 2, but for some reason it does not play nice with Synapse 3. All of the devices keep disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds when Synapse 3 is opened, but when I exit the application the devices work fine. I've tried reinstalling Synapse 3, uninstalling Synapse 2, reinstalling drivers, disabling USB selective suspend among others but still no luck. Does anyone here have the same issue?

Have a similar problem with Synapse 3. It will either randomly disconnect / reconnect or it will send my Tartarus back to default keyboard layout. Before I changed out my old Tattarus and Naga that was running Synapse 2 I was not having this problem. Upgrading to version 3 now requires me to unplug and replug everything when this happens.

Hi there! Have you tried to do a program repair or reinstall? Have you tried plugging it into another port to see if the same issue persists?

Yes, have done both and none seems to fix the issue. :frown_:

Thanks for the update. Please PM me more details about your setup? Please include what devices are connected to the base station. Let's continue there.

I am having the same issue. The following layout all the equipment and how they are currently connected. System equipment: Razer Blade Pro 32Gig RAM, 1TB Hard Drive Intel core i7 2.9GHz CPU Razer Core V2 W/NVIDIA Founders Edition 1080TI Samsung 32" monitor 4k Razer Chroma Classic Keyboard Razer Orbweaver Game Pad Logitech MX Ergo Mouse Razer Base Station Logitech C920 Camera Yeti Stereo Mic Razer Mano-War Headsets J9 powered 4 port hub for connection. I the only way I was able to get the system to work reliably was to hook all USB equipment through the power J9 4-port hub. Any direct connection of the USB device to the laptop or core caused a crash, either on startup, or just after the monitor switch. I attempted using the new version of synapse but it caused very unstable video performance. Crashes (blue screens) Any help would be appreciated.

I forgot I am now using the gpu switcher application. The base station is not recognized in synapse 2.21

Hello! Please PM me your setup (i.e which are plugged into where and what GPU switcher software are you using). Also, include the link to this thread for easy reference. I'll pick it up from there.

Just to clarify, the Base station Chroma is supported by Synapse 3 and not by Synapse 2.
