Razer Blade 2017 triple displays w/Razer TB4 dock
Hi all,
A bit of a dilemma here. I have a Razer Blade Stealth 2017, model number RZ09-0196.
Recently picked up a FOPO S16 so I can run a triple monitor setup.
Picked up a Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock, which says it can run dual monitor via USB C. Connected it up, I can only run one via the USB C cable. The second I have to power with both a USB C (via the dock over to the battery input on the S16) and an HDMI cable.
OK, I figured it was the dock and I was too retarded to understand how the specs read. Bought a Satechi ST-UCT4DM thunderbolt 4 hub thinking this would solve the problem. Exactly the same issue comes up 10.0.0.0.1 .
I have tried switching out thunderbolt cables, I have tried switching the cables between each other. The first monitor connected always powers up using just the USB C, the second requires a HDMI and power only USB C connection.
Is this a limitation of my stealth? Do I need a newer model here? I have already spent around $450 trying to make this work, so the buy buy buy approach is something I would like to avoid.
