recording game chat ripsaw

So I have the razer ripsaw, Xbox one, and the Astro a10's and I go the gameplay video and audio to work but I cant get game chat to record for some reason, so I was wondering if I was doing something wrong if it was because I have the A 10's that it wont record game chat audio
