Replacing switches on BlackWidow Ultmiate 2016

Greetings

For quite some time I had issues with my keyboard not registering keystrokes of some keys, so I’ve been thinking of replacing the switches. I’ve tried resetting the keyboard and it’s been cleaned several times a year, but some keys just don’t register the stroke at all and some miss it from time to time. Led lights are on on all the keys.

Are the new orange switches compatible with 2016 keyboard, since it’s not RGB? What are the issues I could face in this endeavor?

Thank you for the replies.

Switch will fit.

Lighting is a separate thing, as far as I remember to pull the switch from older Razer keyboards you have to also desolder LED light, because it’ll block the switch.

The new keyboards have LED light soldered directly onto PCB (a flat one) + plastic translucent housing mounted into the switch to dissipate the lighting.
