Razer nari essential mic doesn't mute properly

i have been using a nari essential since feb 21st. and now to mic is picked up sound while it is pushed up beyond the click. i slam it on my desk once in rage then the left side didn't produce sound then i tapped the left side a bit forcefully that fixed it. sometimes i feel like it sound a bit less loud but i don't really care about that. it happens when i turn it off lay it down on my desk( the left ear cup lies on the mic arm) and then when i turn it back on the mic picks up sound while it shouldn't. i have tried resetting it in the settings of synapse 3 but that doesn't work.could i maybe try opening the left ear cup to check if there might be something loose?
