question about pro type keyboard recharge

Can I recharge the pro-type keyboard battery when it is connected to USB but not active? e.g I go outside but let the computer on and connect the keyboard with USB and 2.4g Or it is necessary to use the keyboard when it is recharging? Thanks

The keyboard will charge on both suspended and active states. It is even recommended that you recharge it during a suspended state to preserve the battery's health.
