Razer Basilisk V3 is ~ 2 years old
One night after pushing the scroll-wheel toggle button, the mouse continuously connects/disconnects - unusable.
Re-installing synapse worked but the problem repeated several times after toggling the scroll-mode again.
Mouse is functioning after 4th or 5th Synapse reinstall, but obviously I would not like this loop to be the new normal.
did you find a fix? My mouse is stuck on free scrolling even when synapse says its on tactical
Signal boosting this question - I’m having the exact same issue now, also after having this mouse for about 2, maybe 3 years, and would like to know what’s going on and how to fix it. So far I’ve been able to get around not needing to reinstall Synapse by plugging into a different USB port, and occasionally following it with a restart of my PC, but it’s still annoying. Doesn’t ALWAYS happen when I switch between scroll wheel modes, but often enough that I can’t ignore the issue, maybe once every two or three days for the past 2 weeks.
HEEY GUYS I FOUND THE SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM, it is a little cable you have to cut inside the mouse , you will not use the smart wheel any more but the scroll and the mouse will work fine. whoever need help can text me on instagram,, ismatei.cz” and i will send you a video with how to solve the problem and what wire to cut
now I have the same problem and there are absolutely no valid solutions for it. Bravo!! Razer… What an update...
