Razer Nari Charging problems?

Hi, So first of all - of course, the Nari does have this LED next to power button, which lights up red when charging and green when near full charge. Second, usb slots on laptops and pcs normally only provide the max 500mA that is USB3 standard. And if your pc/laptop is switched off, normally ports arent powered. Except if you configured some special charging option in your System/bios- which I guess you dont have. So third and most importantly I recommned charging your Nari with any of the usual USB power bricks you have, your cell phone, camera, and what have you. You are independent of your pc and charging is way faster!

Thanks for the info but still not my problem the headset won't charge at all, I've seen the indicator before but I don't see it now and also the headset wont turn on.

my nari ultimate got same issue today so sad :(

Well ok. Sry to hear that. Indeed sounds as if its defective. =/ My nari has been working nice for about 4 months now. I guess you guys should go for an RMA then.

I just took nari essential out of the box. I got a blue light when it connected to the PC but no red or green lights even when plugged in... please any help?

I switched charging cables. the usb charge cable that came with my headset was wonky. I now get red/green lights when the headset is plugged in ONLY, and the occasional blue light if I walk too far from the pc. listen for audio warning for low battery.

my charging is very iffy. Sometimes I will notice it's plugged in and not charging at all (the red light is not on) I can sometimes unhook and rehook the power and it will charge or not. When it doesn't I have to do a complete power down on the headset. Unplug the device (if it's plugged in) Plug it in while it's off (red light then comes on) and then it starts charging when powered on like normal. Add this to my mic crackling randomly while in games on my computer.

Same thing happened with my headset and the haptic intensity is no longer working. My headset light is out when it is plugged in. If I re-plug the cord then it turns red and I can turn them on, but the light goes red again soon and the headphones go dark if I unplug them. I've had this headset for about three weeks :(

I noticed that keeping the nari plugged in while fully charged doesn't help with battery lifetime. As soon as you can. When the headset is fully charged, unplugged it.

i have the same issue now but i think mine will be worst, i charged and it show green light means fully charged, but after i use it about 30min thn battery finished !!!!

i had my nari essential for about 2 and a half years now i never really had big issuses but then suddenly it stopped charging and i dont have garantie anymore this sucks

Had the same issues with a Nari Ultimate, even a replacement device. Returned it completely, got the new Kraken when it came out, only thing I miss are the haptic drivers....

I've had mine for a little over a year now and they just started doing this 2 weeks ago don't know who I should talk to.

I just brought mine last week on April 2020. and already when i charged it overnight I tried to unplug the cord to use wireless. it turns off. I tried turning it back on. and it goes completely dead. Only powers on when i plugged in the cord. what the hell??

The power states must be all over the place. We can try to check for possible firmware solutions. PM me the serial number of your headset so I can do just that. To everyone else experiencing similar issues, please don't hesitate to shoot me a PM. I'd be happy to help y'all out.

Hi I just bought a Razer Nari and it doesn’t charge either, I get a very faint red light but after a few second the faint red light either just goes off or changed to white, the white light is much brighter but it’s charging at all, driving me crazy just spent £150 on a headset and it doesn’t even work

Does the headset work on analog mode? Where did you purchase the headset? Please PM me the serial number.

The battery is probably dead. PM me the SN of your headset so I can help you submit a warranty claim. *Locking thread to curb conversations to PMs.
