Razer Basilisk V3 scroll speed toggle problems and bugs with RGB

The scrollwheel toggle on my basilisk does a few weird things.

Sometimes it refuses to lock the wheel back up at all. it remains free spinning until i plug the mouse out and back in. most of the time after locking the wheel back up it still feels mushy to the point where the wheel is still somewhat free spinning. the sound of the switching is also clearly less crisp.

when i quickly press the toggle button a few times the mouse just completely disconnects from my pc.

also. whenever the scrollwheel speed is toggled the lighting stops for a moment. and whenever my mouse is lifted off the mousepad the RGB changes color.

i have no idea whats going on with my mouse or how to fix it. especially the last thing with the light.

i appreciate any help

Hello, @wartiuwu!

Try cleaning your mouse using a can of compressed air and spray it in between the gaps. It will help remove any debris that might have been causing the problem. You can then reinstall its drivers. If that didn’t work out, then send me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can look for other troubleshooting steps that we can attempt.
