MAC OS Support for Mouse Scroll Wheel Configuration

Can anyone please advise if there’s a Razer mouse that meets these requirements?

  • Must have a left/right tilting scroll wheel
  • Must allow the programming of the left and right tilt to be any keyboard keys that I want
  • Must be supported on MAC OS, including the tilt wheel configuration, preferably the latest version of Synapse

(Note I wasn’t able to get Synapse 2 working on my MAC, it stuck at the login screen)

These mice have tilt scroll wheel and they’re supported by new Synapse 4 for macOS:

  • Razer Naga V2 Pro
  • Razer Basilisk Mobile
  • Razer Basilisk V3 35K
  • Razer Basilisk V3 Pro
  • Razer Pro Click V2 (and the vertical variant)

Many thanks for the reply

I’m using a Razer Basilisk V3 (wired, USB-A) on macOS, and I’d like to enable the HyperScroll Smart-Reel mode (automatic switch between tactile and free-spin).

However, Razer Synapse for Mac does not recognize the mouse, so I can’t access the scroll wheel settings.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether Smart-Reel can be enabled on macOS for the Basilisk V3

  2. If there is any alternative way to enable or configure Smart-Reel without Synapse (or if support is planned)
