Can't charge my razer blade 2014

While the power adapter is not connected with the laptop, the light on it is lit. When I connect it to the laptop, however, the light went off and the laptop is not charging. Does anyone know what's wrong with it and how can I fix it? ↑This is when I connect it to my laptop ↑This is when it is not connected to the laptop
