BlackShark V2 X Mic hardly picks up my voice

So, I received this headset a day ago and I went to try out the microphone and it barely picks up my voice. I have even turned up volume in control panel sound settings, I have updated drivers and even uninstalled and reinstalled them. I am not sure what to do now, has anyone experienced this problem with this headset and resolved the issue?

    The microphone is pretty quiet, yeah. The only solid workaround I know is to directly plug into PC with the 3.5mm audio jack, the microphone works flawlessly that way. The trade-off is that synapse no longer recognizes the headset so you lose audio quality, and I'm still looking for a no-compromise solution. If you don't want to sacrifice audio quality my suggestion is to increase volume as high as you can on the mic both in windows and synapse without generating background static, and then choosing the mic boost preset in synapse. If thats not enough, you can try raising all the sliders on mic boost an equal amount until you're satisfied.
