audio cuts, game lags, nommo v2

something weird happening with my nommo v2 speakers, I have been using them since middle of January didn't have any issues until about the last month, I work a lot so I don't game as frequently as I would like to. recently they started to lag games and cut audio, it happens with games launched in steam and EA app. I have read online that the synapse app could be culprit so over the last month I feel like I been chasing my tail, uninstall/reinstall, synapse 3 and 4, into sound settings turning off audio enhancements, plugging them into different usb port. I just don't understand it, updated all drivers I could find. I use my steel series headset no issue for hours, switch back to speakers and it starts acting up really no rhyme or reason that I can figure, sometimes happens back-to-back frequently sometimes several minutes apart.
