Check this guy out, he has lots of advice and i use his warzone 2 settings for MW2 and I can hear footsteps so clearly.

Here are a few suggestions:

  • THX on, Bass Boost +2, Treble Boost +2: This setting is said to provide a good balance of bass and treble, which can help to make footsteps more audible.
  • THX off, Bass Boost +4, Treble Boost +1: This setting is said to give a more bass-heavy sound, which can be helpful for hearing footsteps in noisy environments.
  • THX off, Bass Boost -2, Treble Boost +3: This setting is said to give a more treble-heavy sound, which can be helpful for hearing footsteps from a distance.

Ultimately, the best EQ settings for you will koows depend on your individual hearing preferences and the environment in which you're playing. It's a good idea to experiment with different settings to see what works best for you.

If you are still using this headset and is playing cod you are right what you need on cod isnt to bassboost your headset but just use the "Game" eq settings and put bass boost to 29 percent and you will be able to hear foot steps way better with out far away explosions overpowering footsteps. Tell me if you like it.
