Really interested in these but I read somewhere that you need a 7.1 sound card for them? I have an Alienare laptop with graphics amplifier so I think these won’t work for me?

I was finally able to buy myself a pair of Tiamat <3 Can't wait to get my order. Like. Really. It's been years since I first saw the Tiamat 7.1 V1. I'm excited as dfjifhjdsiofhioghfdoi

Just got this headset about a week ago. They're definently the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. I was using man o war 7.1 prior to getting these.. they do sound good but you definently have to do some tweaking with your sound settings but once you have them dialed in they're amazing! And contrary to many negative reviews about havingto purchase a dedicated sound card that's bs. I am using onboard sound, realtek hd audio with the latest drivers and they really do just fine with onboard. 7.1 at its finest!

Hello, I love the HeadSet. But I can't get them to work properly... Realtek 7.1 or Razer Surround... both cant solve my problem... NO BASS at all... my 20€ still song better... Can someone help me? I'm very sad with it.
Here you go: /tiamet-7-1-not-showing-up-in-synapse.32218/#post-431784 The control box is bad. The position indicators are super small type and are not lit. Forget trying to modify settings on the fly. The position indicators should be lit describing what that position is for (i.e. Front, Side, Bass, etc).

hey will it be Able to fully utilize all audio jacks found on the Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2 on this board asus rog maximus x hero ? or do i need to buy sound card ?

Hello. Im using Tiamat 7.1 v2 for 1 month and I have one issue. Everrything is working good, my soundcard is integrated Creative recon 3di 5.1, going to buy Asus Strix Soar. Problem is that my desk speakers 2.1 connected to Tiamat's volume controller and when im watching movie 5.1 (or playing games) through my desk speakers 2.1, it's working like 5.1, i mean im loosing 2 channels (center and rear). Tiamat's volume controller can only output 7.1 through mini jacks?

From Razer support I see some sound cards are compatible for the full 7.1 experience while others are limited to 5.1. I know most of the Creative Sound cards are limited to 5.1 but I was wondering if this was true for the new Sound BlasterX AE-5? Do I still have to go with ASUS if I want 7.1?

Which audio receiver actually accepts 7.1 inputs from the razer or the computer though. I just need the receiver, I have all the speakers.

Just received it yesterday after many months of consideration.. Tested it, but in 7.1 mode, the bass is totally non existent, and also, very disappointing that such a pricey headset is not supported in Synapse 3.0 yet. Anyone solved the bass issue??

I have a 7.1 onboard sound card. By the way I forgot to update, it has something to do with the settings, managed to fix it!

Hi! Which one do you have? 2.2 or 7.1? I have the 7.1 and in fact, I have to manually adapt the mic sensibility for each of my games! Also, do you have any noise cancelling thing on your sound card?

7.1, dont have noise canceling, volume and mic boost are only options, I am using https://www.trust.com/en/product/20378-mico-usb-microphone so far, If I plug tiamat mic in USB adapter for this microphone, still geting sound from headset, so I dont think its my sound card
