.... I managed to update the firmware. Works fine now.

I was having this issue I try to update it may be work fine after updating thanks for the advice

After updating to firmware 1.4.4 around 4-6 weeks ago, headset audio input and microphone functions are not able to connect via Bluetooth to devices anymore. Not to Android phones other than primary phone (this device). Win10 devices show up Opus headset as Paired. But Connect/Disconnect option is Absent.

After disconnect/forget pairing with my mobile phone, Headset is now completely unusable, bricked.
Razer Opus Bluetooth light is blinking with a constant regular drone sound beat.

NO devices, bluetooth is completely faulty at this point. NO mobile app, nor regular Bluetooth pairing is able to locate and connect to Opus.

Razer Tech Team --> Please support with adequate answers to get device working or be contactable, leave behind a number. Singapore.

The headset works ok-ish with Windows 10, you just have to select the Headset (Razer Opus Hands_Free AG Audio) option as the provider for both speaker and microfone. I use it with both Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex Teams.

@csuntico The product description explicitly mentions gaming. Also from the technical specifications one must assume that the headphones work wireless on a PC. I also use them on my cell phone but want to use them on a PC as well. If they had written that they would not work there, I would agree with you.

The advertising is missleading.

I really hope they will bring the ANC to gaming headsets. Especially for Blade users with loud fan noises, like me.

These cans were meant for listening to music on smartphones and on the go. Not for use with the PC. Just like the Sony WH-1000XM3 and the Sennheiser Momentum 3. Sounds like you guys bought them for the wrong reasons that Razer intended to be used for: Audio on the go.

Yes the Micro doesn't work under Win 10. I don't have the remaining sound problems. But I'm annoyed that the support doesn't even know if Windows will be supported in the future.

Just bought it and i dont recomend!

Hello, so my new Razer Opus arrived last Thursday 02/07, and in my first minutes using i was already super disapointed with my new €200,00 headphone.

1st problem: When i activate the ANC, a super anoying noise starts on the left ear, and it never stops, its not that loud but enought to make the ANC totally useless.

2nd problem: As we all know, wireless headphones doesnt work pretty well with Windows 10 (even this new 2020 Razer Opus) , so i had a lot of problems with discord, steam, origin... etc. Also with the cable conected, the mic works really bad, for sure this is not a Headset for gaming (As i expected), so this wasnt a surprise, but just sharing information.

3rd problem: i alredy contacted the Razer Suport team 4 days ago, and still no answer.

So carefull if you wanna choose this brand new Headset guys...


I will return mine too.

There are a lot of driver issues with windows 10 and the mic is garbage. can absolutly confirm that.

Your comments are scaring me alot though... Have you tried to disable the ANC? the sound still is there? Maybe is a defective unit.... What kind of problems are you encountering with Windows 10? i was searching for a wireless headset for my Desktop, but if these have all these issues.... I dont know.

I don't know much about the prices of headphones, but apparently these are relatively affordable, and, as others have already mentioned, they are quite stealthy.
