Hi everyone,

I'm writing this to share my extremely disappointing experience with a Razer BlackShark V3 Wireless. After a one 1 month of use, the headset developed a clear manufacturing defect. Im writing this to the community and Razer staff because I am being ignored by official support regarding a severe electrical failure in my headset.

I am reporting a severe hardware failure in my headset that has escalated into a documented safety hazard.

Technical Details of the failure:

  • Burning smell: There is a persistent smell of burnt plastic emanating directly from the USB-C charging port.

  • Internal Short-Circuit: The device has suffered an internal short-circuit. It is no longer recognized by any PC via USB or 2.4GHz wireless dongle (this basically stop working).

  • Fire Hazard: Attempting to charge the unit causes the port to overheat significantly, posing a direct risk of fire or battery explosion. Even the original charging cable has failed due to the surge.

I have already provided this technical evidence to official support but I was told by Support they cannot proceed because I am in Colombia.

This is negligence. You have a customer with a dangerous, defective unit that is a fire hazard, and you are refusing to honor the warranty of a $179  product based on geography. Amazon directed me to you for the hardware warranty.

It is unacceptable that Razer hides behind "geographical policies" when they have put a dangerous product in the hands of a customer.
