RAZER Kraken 2.0's not working with some games

Hello! I bought RAZER'S Kraken 2.0, 7.1 Surround Sound Headset around July of 2016 and with some games it's refusing to work. I can listen to YouTube and most AAA games just fine, I tested them with Crusader Kings II, SCP: Secret Laboratory, among others, however with some games like The Darkside Detective and Aaero, it's not projecting any sound. I came to the conclusion when I plugged in some random Bluetooth Speakers and they projected sound just fine. I've tried to:
  • Reinstall Razer Synapse 2.0
  • Reinstall the Kraken 2.0's drivers
  • Change all possible settings within games that don't work
  • Restart my PC
  • Recalibrate my headset, (which also didn't project any sound, somehow)
I'm a bit dumb with audio, so is there any solution, or should I just buy a new headset? (also, there are these beeping sounds, like the rhythm of footsteps, that happen from time to time. been happening for about a year now too.) Thanks! Minerva

    Two things first in windows sound device menager headset are the default device and ssecond on game or game launcher you see headset or you can select them ?

    @BlackFireDragon Yup, it's set as the default sound device, and I can select it in games and in Razer Synapse.

    Ok can you cheack in game settings what you have there when your headset is on and also delete headset from windows device menager to force new driver installation reboot and cheack. Settings for game audio if you can give as ss in replay.

    So I followed /how-to-fix-your-razer-true-7-1-surround-headphone.29234/ and I tried it about 3 times. None showed any progress nor any change. I might give RAZER's customer support a call. Thanks for your help, really really appreciate it!!

    By not projecting sound, do you mean no audio at all? Do note that there are some games that do not support 7.1 Surround Sound.

      No audio whatsoever inside the game, but other games work just fine. A common pattern I found was that the games had no audio settings, so would that be an issue? Thanks!

      Not always in some chep games you can find this becose it take settings from windows and load pre-made preset. If this is on games that are AAA titles then yeah something is wrong.

      This appears to be an isolated case. Have you tried using other headsets or maybe even a pair of speakers with the games you're having issues with?

      I tried it with other speakers, like my Rift's audio, it worked. This happens in indie games but not in AAA titles. Sorry!
