Dear Razer!
I am writing about the Razer Thresher 7.1 PS4 headphones. Namely, I am interested in the question if these headphones connected to a PC will play sound with the same high quality in Dolby Surround 7.1 format?
Secondly, whether the sound transmitted via USB Dongle differs in quality from the sound transmitted by the base station on the PS4 platform as well as the PC.

Quality is the same the diffrence you have when you connect device via ptical cable on basestation on the normal version there is no such connection and the diffrence is sound is huge. Also on pc you cant change anything for this headset lightning, eq is pre-build on ps4 you can menage it from settings.

Could you explain this more accurately? The second question.
I have a version of Thresher 7.1 and I wonder if the quality, the sound is worse than the Ultimate version.

I'm also talking about surround sound, whether there is a difference when connecting via a base station and USB Dongle.

If you connect via usb it dont matter if it's base station or dongle the sound will be the on both but when you have base station on ultimate version of this headset you also have optical input and there is huge diffrence in sound when you compere usb to optical. When you decide to connect via optical input device must support this becose it difrent type of wire.

Regular version dont have optical input only ultimate have it on base station. I cant tell you to buy or change headset but i can say you this that via optical input you have better sound and you can use this input on every device that support this port and lose sound quality or you can use usb and optical on two difrent device and use switch buton on back on the base station to quick change active device.
