The cost is not bad. I mean it is less than the cost of the headphones needed to make a difference.

Not concerned, I only have wireless or USB audio devices.


The question is which DAC (digital to audio converter) are you using? For both the wireless and USB devices, you have a DAC built into the headphones. There many DAC vendors out there and usually companies just use what is cheapest. The Razer laptops tend to have a pretty good DAC for the headphone port. For my work Dell, I have been using the Razer USB THX DAC that came with my Kraken Tournament 7.1 headphones and it makes a difference. I have both the Kraken 7.1 and Kraken 7.1 with THX DAC and you can tell the difference between them. It is not much, but it is there.

Bluebooth is the oldest protocol, you dad uses it in the carpool lane. Regarding headsets they should have one job, play audio... not converto it from DtoA as well. We are talking about Master quality sound (44.1khz - 192.khz and above)
