Hello Friends,

I didn't quite understand why it is not included in the Razer peripherals.

In any case, it's good to have the choice to take the paid THX option or the Dolby atmos, as we prefer. ^_^

My first impressions:
1- Lack of option to add games manually to the list and rename;
2- The list has a limit of applications, when the limit is reached, the first is automatically replaced;
3- There is a sound bug that seems to be popping up at the beginning (I noticed doing the Windows test);
4- The central channel is loud, making the sound disproportionate, just as it was in "7.1 Surround Sound";
5- Inexplicably the application stops working when trying to play Dead Space;

Can't wait to try with my Kraken once i'll be back home.

I've got the Kraken 7.1 (V1) since many years and my wife has the V2, they're durable and with great sound, you should try it.

If my headset already had the default THX audio system, do I still need to purchase?

I give it a try and just like it. My trial will end soon and i try to buy it but i can not... I'm living in Turkey and i cant select region about Turkey. I can not see Turkey on list i'm choosing Europe - English from the region list and still i can't see anything about Turkey. Can anyone got the answer help me about that? Thx.

There's a guy who got the same problem. I dont understand in the FAQ tab razer says an activation code will be sent to email adress but they don't send any activation code i suppose...

I still haven't received any email, and I can't contact the official customer service. I submitted the problem feedback 3 times, and still haven't received any official email. I want to buy an upgrade Thx sound friends had better be careful, because when you fill in the address, email, payment, you can't wait for the result... I can't get a refund. I'll pay back my $10. I have tried it and I like it but I get audio glitching and I noticed that the in app engine uses alot of cpu usage.

No, what THX Spatial Audio does is simulate 7.1 surround sound on your headset, the same way Dolby Atmos and other apps that use the Windows Sonic API do.


The software I got (for free) with my Kraken X Lite (Razer 7.1 surround sound) does exactly that as far as I can understand -- the headset was advertised as "coming with a software that simulates 7.1 surround sound". Now it's asking me whether I want to upgrade and buy THX Spatial Audio at half price.

Does anybody know what is the difference between the 'default' 7.1 surround sound "simulator" (for which I got the code with my headset) and this new THX spatial audio, and is it worth buying on top of the provided 7.1 software for Kraken X Lite?

I got the Quartz Kraken Pro, gonna try if it's compatible.
If not, I wonder if its time to upgrade to Kraken Kitty .

No option to purchase this in Asia Pacific region so far. Very disappointing since it is just software where the trial version can be downloaded, but can't be upgraded at all.

Could someone please take the accessibility of this app in mind? I am using it and liking it sofar but I cannot change the eq and the game mode is to much base so at the moment the only thing I can do is turn off the base boost. would like to have more control though. I am using the nvda (nv-access) open source software to access the application.

We had the THX audio system option when we purchased the Raze's headset. Do we still need to purchase this THX system? And what's the difference between both?

Moreover, will it have a mobile version that allows us to modify the earphone performance?
(I know the Dolby Atom installed in RazerPhone2, but just asking for an alternative.)

If you have a THX enabled headset that unlocks the feature in Synapse 3, then you don't need to buy this standalone software. This software bring the THX thing to ANY audio device (usb, onboard jack, etc...) and any headset then.
It's an upgrade of the 7.1 Surround software we were given free with a 2019 Kraken, which was already an upgrade of the Razer Surround (synapse2 era). Buy it if you want to have THX (it would mean that you are happy with it) on any system that doesn't have a Synapse3/THX enabled device (like the Kraken TE or the Nari).

Just a scam. It's the old razer surround software (which was free and was broke by razer just before the "new" THX release) with a new user interface. Pitiful...
