If you do end up upgrading... GO WITH AMD. they are taking major leaps in the gaming community. Lol yea completely forgot to mention... thanks for reminding me... don't forget about BIOS updates... they can be a real pain to try and get a compatible board like M-S-G said.

yes, you should but go with ryzen because it is as good as intel but usually goes for less.

Depending on your budget, totally! If you only have cash for one or the other, personally I'd go with the GPU upgrade first and then transition into a new CPU and mobo when money permits if that's something you're able to do.
