I am done with Razer products

I have been a loyal and faithful Razer customer for over 12 years. I am not even sad to say; I am glad to say that I am finished buying Razer products.

#1 - They are over priced. The “for gamers by gamers” is just crap. What gamer would want a device that constantly reconnects while EVERY driver/software is up to date? Reaching out to support is pointless. Razer support is garbage. They claim they are made with premium components. Then why have I gone through 2 Razer Naga Trinity mice, both failing to DIFFERENT micro-switch problems. The first one (less than 6 months old), the right mouse button could not be “Held” down. Then the clicks became super intermittent - unusable. The second one, the number pad on the side lost the use of some of the buttons and most became intermittent at best. I take EXTREME good care of my products. There is no reason that these expensive devices should fail like this.

#2 - Unreliable. I have a set of Blackshark V2 wireless headphones I paid a premium price for. I literally had to move the USB to on top of my desk, next to my keyboard to minimize the reconnects. Razer said “too many wifi devices on the same channel”. This is B/S. I removed ALL wifi in proximity. My Headphones were the only “wifi” device in any close proximity. Disconnects happened just as much, just as frequent. I had a set of Logitech headphones G533’s that NEVER did this and cost 1/3 the price with just as good of sound quality.

#3 - Excuses/Crap Support. Every time you reach out to Razer for support, it is an excuse (did you update? did you check your connection? Did you drop it? There are too many wifi devices within proximity on the same channel...). Then, it is followed up by scripted B/S suggestions. Like I haven’t tried all this BEFORE contacting Razer??

If I pay over $300 for a single peripheral device for my PC, I expect longevity and minimal to NO issues. Razer fails. Warning to new consumers - STAY AWAY FROM RAZER PRODUCTS!

Terrible company, terrible support, zero accountability, bad, greedy business.

I used to love Razer not sure what happened though. I spent a fortune on a wireless keyboard and mouse and both crapped the bed so early. The dongles stopped working on the mouse completely and the keyboard also just stopped working even plugged in. Together I spent over 300 dollars on 2 peripherals that didn't even last  as long as my cheap ass mice and keyboards do, Do yourself a huge favor stay away from the Viper Pro line and the  Razer Blackwidow - they won't last long and you'll  do way better with something ¼ of that price. Take this from someone who has been gaming since atari I know junk when I come across it.

Don't buy razer products now, they're way too corporate and have the worst software engineers. Save yourself the headaches.
