Does Core X Chroma work with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000
Hello, I just bought a Core X Chroma and I will receive an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 eGPU. Unfortunately I misunderstood that Core X Chroma supported it, but instead it supports the NVIDIA Quadro P6000. I haven't yet tried the Quadro RTX (I will receive it mid of next week) but any experience in the forum with those ? I mean, the Quadro RTX 6000 power and form factor specs are identical than the Quadro P6000. Any chance it will work ? Thanks !!!!

Theoretically if It consumes around 300 watt and has appropriate driver with the host laptop it should be fine. RTX6000 Quadro maybe because of the price tag I don’t see the Egpu setting yet but there’s express box that using rtx5000 with similar power consumption only bigger tflop and it use only 400 watt internal power supply with 700 watt power supply (max 500 watt for the gpu) on chroma X you’ll have plenty room. But that’s only an assumption, maybe try get the enclosure through 3rd party resellers for faster and easier refund like Amazon in case it isn’t compatible or you’ve other issues.
