How do I save the lighting settings to the mouses memory?

I just got this new Basaltic V3 mouse today and got the colors the way I want them but I have to keep the software on to keep the colors from changing back to default. I never had this issue with another mouse I have owned. I am already thinking of returning the mouse after this experience using it for 30 minutes, and that software they have you install is acting like a virus adding all sorts of reg changes and startup and even path changes to my OS. Even after I uninstalled Synapsis V3 to install V4 I started going through the Reg before installing 4 and didn't clean itself up properly. I want nothing to do with this software except for setting the color to static and it being blue. Any suggestions welcome I will be returning this back to Amazon and getting another Logitech or ASUS mouse if I can't fix it.
