I only have about a month with this keyboard, and it's given me nothing but issues. Even after updating its firmware to the latest version as of 6/22/2023, and wiping out clean the Synapse 3 app and reinstalling it, multiple times, the keyboard refuses to charge. No matter what I use, either plugging it into my work machine, my personal gaming rig, or even using my phones charge adapter. I have let it sit overnight, gone to work and come back to the keyboard still nearly at 0% battery.
I've seen multiple other threads here of people complaining about similar issues, and some of them haven't gotten a single reply, so I'm expecting to go through the same,
I just can't believe that I paid over $270 bucks after tax for this keyboard, only to be left in the dust. I was better off buying a cheap alternative. That could've possibly help me a lot better. I'm furious that, to make matters even worse for me, I purchased the keyboard through Amazon, and I'm an overseas customer that lives in the Caribbean, so I can already imagine the absolute lack of support.
Again, I have already tried reinstalling and doing a complete wipe out of the synapse app, and the keyboard's firmware is already at its latest version.,
Hi,
yeah, I had this keyboard for almost 8 months now, maybe more..
my keyboard also has the 0% charge issue plus my keyboard is randomly shutting down during gameplay etc..
I spent 250 euro for this keyboard and It was not worth it - not able to RMA it either..
currently using a 20euro keyboard.. I’m not going to buy any razer keyboards anymore - bad experience.
Are you not able to use the keyboard just wired until the issue is fixed? iirc it works perfectly fine through a USB port while wired...

I am having this same issue, and yes it does work while wired but why the heck did we pay all of this money for a nice keyboard if you can’t even use it’s BT or 2.4 capabilities. Very frustrating.
Lots of issues on my DeathStalker v2 pro.
I have the
Keyboard: DeathStalker v2 pro
Mouse: Deathadder v3 pro
Headset: BlackShark v2 pro wireless
All new. Not more than 1 week old.
I had read the same somewhere that if there are 2 devices connected, it gives an issue.
so as per this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uoqS_7RQTI
I did the same. all my firmware are upto date. No issues with mouse or headphones.
keyboard is connected to the mouse dongle and is using a single dongle to connect via Hyperspeed.
Although improved,
- I still keep getting isssues with random unresponsiveness on key press for a few seconds
- random reconnections. and kind of renders the keyboard unusable. keyboard Flashes white before this happenes
- Very rarely one keypress equates to multiple keypresses and results ion multiple characters on screen.
- Continuous keypress doent work at time. especially ingame. e.g. pressing ‘w’ for movement doen’t result in continuous movement
Really surprised that such a expensive keyboard has such issues!!
If you have found any solution, please do let me know.
kind of expected issues when I see it’s marked “frequently returned” Item when I viewed it on amazon.
I bought a viper v2 pro mice first and looking to get a keyboard from razer too. since it advertised that they support multi devices connecting through single dongle.
The deathstalker v2 pro TKL was at pretty lovely discount when I decided to give it a shot.
Came in 2 days and the dongle is came death. working with my mice dongle through multi connection but randomly cause my mice to disconnect. Seriously bad because I bought this for FPS game.
Luckily, I am in U.S. and Razer is able to get me a RMA.
And I got a new looking, sealed one from Razer in about a week. (time wasting already)
everything working but same old issue if I use the multi device connection through a single dongle, so I had to plug both dongles. (imagine your teammate looking at you freeze all the sudden in front of a full squad enemy).
FF are most updated so not mentioned.
and then the battery life, I charged three times having it for just 7 days.
10% static light and 1 mins off inactivity. I play at most 4 hours a day. 100% charged showing on Synapse every time. and overnight it could drop like 20%+. seriously nowhere near the battery life it claimed to have.
Maybe I should just pay a bit more to go for Logitech.
Have you guys tried removing the battery and manually pushing power into the battery ?
use something like an old usb cable cut, then use the red and black wires to give the battery a jump start, I'm almost 100% sure the MBs on this keyboard are a little fruity and let the battery slip below 1% charge, which = a battery that will no longer charge.
Updating the firmware will not the resolve the fact the battery had gone into degrade mode, but the cells might still be good.
so just connect the wires correctly with the battery removed let it charge for about 1-2 mins then plug it in and test, Other than that get yourself a new battery. I have done this with a test pilot I purchased off eBay with this issue, works like a charm now and has been going for over a year
