Multi-device receiver suggestion.

So I’ve had an Orochi v2 in my laptop bag for a while and I love it. However, I’m thinking about replacing the mouse that stays on my desk, and eventually my keyboard as well. I’m probably going to go with Razer to take advantage of the multi device paring.

While looking at the different mice that Razer makes, I had an idea for a feature suggestion; I’d like to be able to pair a keyboard and two mice to a single receiver. It would be ok if only one mouse can be used at a time as long as both can remain paired. The idea behind this would be for laptop users like me would be able to leave one small receiver plugged in all the time, be able to use the keyboard and mouse that stay at home, and not have to switch dongles when on the road.

I don’t know if this would be possible while keeping the fantastic performance that Razer products have but thought that it would still be worth mentioning.

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

You can pair a keyboard and one mouse to single wireless dongle.

It’s called Hyperspeed multi-device.

Here’s a supported devices list: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4048

I know, it's a great feature!

Having to swap between the desk dongle and the Orochi v2 dongle while on the road is not a big deal, but a little extra convenience would be nice.

I just noticed that the Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% isn't on the Hyperspeed multi-device supported list, is it because the keyboard is newer than the support article or because it doesn't support multi-device?

Nope it’s not multi-device compatible. It’s not even Hyperspeed dongle compatible, which is sad.

Uses the same not-compatible-with-any-other-device dongle (the same as Viper V3 Pro) - and this is really dumb from Razer.

They’re making a big confusion with their products, because they’re selling “universal” Hyperpolling dongle (that fits DAv3 Pro or Cobra Pro for eg.), and the “Hyperpolling” dongles from BWv4 75% or Viper V3 Pro are not compatible with nothing except things, that they were come from.

That changes a lot of things... Thanks a lot for the clarification and for saving me from buying an expensive keyboard that would've required me to keep the USB hub that I have on my desk.

The lack of multi-device is a deal breaker for me.
