Hi, I recently just bought a 2nd hand TV Screen. I tried connecting to the TV via HDMI but nothing comes up on the TV Screen, its just black. I feel like my laptop is definitely connected to the TV somehow, just because if its not connected the TV screen show a "No Signal" message. Also should note that it shouldn't be the TV's HDMI issue as my housemate can connect his laptop it. Any advice? Thanks



I'm thinking of buying a Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter, or a USB-C to HDMI Adapter, would this solve the problem? and if it does, which adapter should i get?
