hi razer! i was wondering if you would be able to assist me with a problem im facing. ive purchased a razer blade pro 17 with the 240hz screen and the rtx2070, i7 9750h, 16gb RAM for literally one purpose, to play call of duty modern warefare Warzone. but im finding my self really frustrated that the laptop doesn't seem to be performing as i hoped. i spent a lot of time researching what laptop to buy before making my purchase and it after watching all the reviews and reading everything i could find online i bought this. but whilst trying to play the game the max FPS im able to reach is around 120FPS. i have spikes of high 150s for milliseconds but the game generally sits on average around 100-120fps. but its certainly very unstable, it jumps all over the place. i dont know if the laptop is throttling its performance or? ive tried optimising everything in windows, including setting all nividia control panel settings to max performance, adjusting virtual memory in windows up, all performance options to best performance. i even let geforce experience app fully optimise the in game settings for best performance. ive used razer synapse app to system performance everything up to the max as well as razer cortex. ive also watched countless videos on youtube about configuring in game settings to gain max fps, and ive got literally every graphic setting set to low or off with ray tracing off. after all this attempt to improve the FPS in warzone i feel its still under performing of what i expected it to achieve. im comparing all of my results against other laptops and pcs. and ive seen less speced laptops and pcs achieving better performance in game. im really hoping you can help me, i just want to get the best performance out my laptop. before purchasing it, i was really hoping to achieve an in game performance at 150-180fps stable. with highs of over 200, thats why i got the 240hz screen.
really looking forward to hearing from you
Rob

Unstable like huge frame drop might be from cpu throttling, how high is the temperature? Maybe try to use balanced mode and high fans rpm for cooler temperature that means more stable performance. I played this game on stealth 13, using max cpu performance it was hot and I set it to default and balanced Synapse profil the temperature was great, though since it’s 1650maxq I was aiming 60fps and on optimal 1080p setting it surpassed the FPS without any annoying performance drop.
with all the settings that i named above, basically max death mode, most of my temps are high, around 68 to 70. so not super hot, but definitely at the end of the safe spectrum. i just feel abit frustrated that buying almost the most powerful laptop you can buy that im getting a pretty medium benchmark... im waiting to hear back from razer, hopefully with a good result, otherwise i think this is will be my first and last purchase from razer.. you wouldnt buy a lambo and expect it to only go 70mph.. i spent alot of money buying this rig, and for it to just to be performing at medium to low performance performance is viable to me. if its performing like this now, next year it will be redundant
hopefully someone has an anwser

Well, the stupid thing about gaming notebooks is the performance. Even the most expensive gaming laptop will break a sweat a year later with current 3A games. Then better a desktop gaming PC, because the graphics cards, e.g. an RTX2060 is better than the 2060 in a notebook, even if the specs are identical.
Still, you have a very good gaming machine there. And maybe Razer will improve it with an update or two.

I see, was thinking also the same since it has good thermal management. I didn’t play the game on max setting only the optimal options, maybe on max setting the game need better hardware like F1 car:)
Pretty sure you have Lamborghini and Jarrodtech reported that exact model, blows most 2080maxq laptops performance for example on BFV
