Razer Chimaera 5.1 Question

Hello got a question,

Ive got the razer chimaera 5.1 wireless headset and now i want to use it for my streaming on twitch.
But for some reason i cant merge the microphone with the game sound.

I plugged the 3.5mm in the back of the base station right into the PC and did the same with optical.
The only way to let it work is to press the 'Mode' button on the headset

Whats going wrong here?

I want to hear the in gamesound over my headset and speak to my viewers without toggling.
