Should I be able to use the Mamba Wirless while it charges?

It isn't that big of a deal....but I can't seem to use the wireless mouse while it has the cable plugged in and is charging. Is this normal?

SOLVED: You can charge the mouse using a USB port externally. But it you want to use it while it charges, you must connect it to the computer. So simple.
