Synapse 4 RGB Problem

I had the same problem, and it "resolved" itself for a while — I don't know how — but since yesterday, the issue came back.

With the Chroma aRGB Controller, my fans light up when the PC starts, but they turn off as soon as Synapse launches.

I have to uncheck the "Brightness" option in the Razer Chroma app and then turn it back on to wake the fans' lighting.

I hope an update will come soon, it’s really annoying...

Resolved itself. Lol. No, because I'm out there down their throat to get it fixed.

It looks like we are back again. Can anyone else verify this?

seems to be still broken from my side, my only “trick” is to turn off and on chroma controller in the razer app at each boot…

what’s your settings?

I am testing with disable minimize on startup right now. It seems to work. Sorry, I should have known to test this better before sharing.

Another note on this. It has been working with wallpaper engine on startup chroma apps but when you switch to Studio effects you still have to do the "trick"

When you say “disable on startup,” do you mean for Razer Chroma, Razer Synapse, or both?

I only tested with the Razer Chroma app, but it doesn’t work for me.

I didn’t really understand what you said about Wallpaper Engine, but I’m interested. I have Wallpaper Engine set to run on startup — should I disable it, or maybe just delay it?

For me Chroma Apps like Wallpaper Engine are the only way to have the lighting on from Synapse startup. So just have this going before shutdown. However if you try to go to Studio effects after. This device turns the lights off. I did Synapse as disable minimize. Thanks for trying the other side of it. 

I have been doing shutdown then turning off the power switch at night just to make a full shutdown for testing.

After what I found out about what they did to THX I'm about done with this crap. 

Synapse 4 and the cloud sync issues. Synapse 3 won't have cloud so that will be gone. THX murdered and no longer showing as 7.1. Missing audio channels. I am so deep in this system and I wish I never started. Sad because 20 devices on this PC and the lighting options are untouchable by other companies. 

I have issues intermittently with the RGB an my Razer Blade 16 (most frequent is the issue of the lighting not sleeping) and it seems to be related to versions of Synapse.  When it’s working OK, that goes away with new Synapse updates.  They need to figure out and put these into the BIOS.  My other laptop by a different brand has its functions in BIOS and works without issue.  

Lately, when Synapse fails (stops controlling the RGB), it prompts me to select which profile (Local, Cloud, and third which can’t recall right now).  But Local and Cloud should be the same, so there is something wrong with the profile part of the software.
