[TotW] The Road to Blizzcon Means Leak Season

I'm a huge Blizzard fan and it's tough being a fan right now. The state of the games, the state of the world, the state of a lot of things, make me feel like Blizzard isn't really delivering on the warm and fuzzies as of late. Often times, however, what keep me going are the leaks.

A lot of them are fake. We learn over time to take them with a grain of salt. Every so often, after all that's been said and done, it's fun to go back and see if any of the leaks were right.

There's so much talk about Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 it's hard not to get excited for what's coming at the end of this week. For me, it's practically Christmas.

This week's thread is two-fold. If you're into Blizzard games, what are you looking forward to seeing or hearing about from Blizzcon. And whether or not you're into Blizzard games, are you into leaks about your favorite games, movies, brands or any sort of entertainment? Do you tend to believe them? Or do you prefer to throw a lot of hate at the ridiculous prospects the leaks may be foretelling?

I hope its Diablo 4 and not a mobile version. Blizzard is in a lot of trouble anyways, they dont want to alienate fans like they did with that mobile attempt.

Yeah everyone wants Diablo 4 and Diablo 2 Remastered (don't hold your breath for a D2 Remaster until Summer 2020 though, just in time for the game's 20th Anniversary)

Pray that they wont disappoint again with a mobile game again.Id rather Blizz being working or announcing something about the rumour of the Starcraft FPS.

For what its worth to those who don't have an HDR capable monitor, NVIDIA has made GeForce Game Ready Driver 441.08 available and this NOW properly lets you enable FreeStyle to be used on Overwatch so you can enjoy an HDR experience now :cool_::cool_::big_grin_::big_grin_:

FreeStyle feature for Overwatch was broken for a long time for Overwatch as it was listed ON the support page as a supported game for the feature but it never did work at all up until now.

I just enabled this on my systems and its awesome! Mad props to NVIDIA for fixing FreeStyle for making my HDR dream for Overwatch come true :smile_:

Which monitor do you use in between ?


I have the Lenovo Y27G Razer 144hz Monitor on my desktop gaming PC and on my laptop just the built-in screen thats 120hz. AU Optronics company makes it for HP to use on their OMEN X laptop series/line of computers.

I too am excited to see more about Overwatch 2 as long with maybe a new WoW trailer for a new expansion, and why not a new Diablo. I do hate the price Blizzard put for their virtual ticket, it's insanely high, probably if would have been cheaper i'd buy it. But videos will surely be posted on the internet a few hours after they're presented to Blizzcon, so nothing to worry about really.

OW Campaigns
WoW Expansion which is rumored to be a soft systems reset of sorts
Diablo 4 which is also rumored to be VERY different.

As blizzard fan every year watch blizzcon. This year it's like event disapear every year we have preperations, news, videos, new things in gear shop to ticket owners. I dont know what is going on in blizzard but not something good. I hope we something that blow ower minds but it's more a wish that fact ;/

Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 are real now duders.... all rumors became true

I wouldnt expect these titles to be released until next year tho :frown_:

IF Blizzard makes a Collector's Edition of Diablo 4, you can certainly expect it to sell out via preorders (happened with D3CE)

Fans shouldn’t expect a full release date to be shared during Blizzcon, but it is possible we might learn what year it is being launched. Overwatch 2 is another matter, with plenty of leaked information floating about before the big expo Dollar General Customer Satisfaction Survey

My thouts after the event :P
Overwatch the same game dew improvements under the hood and new story mod for me it's just a DLC not a full new game so it's just marketing to get more money.
Diablo IV great announcment looks pretty damn good i hope we see it near next blizzcon :)
World of Warcraft I have feeling wow dev team is struggling what way to go with this game they try to improve it but a lot of things is still missing i hope this expansion will be strong come back.
Becose Blizzard destroy the HGC hots is pretty dead on this blizzcon just announcment with new hero and this is it.
StarCraft II New commander and nothing new ;/

I have mixed feeling two games looks nice one is the same thing with new graphic and aboyt other two blizzard forget.
