2019 Stealth + eGPU + overheading with lid closed?

Just installed my Core V2 to run with my 2019 Razer Blade Stealth, and want to know if having the lid closed on the stealth will present cooling issues. Does the cooling also use keyboard vents or just the underbody vents?

So far system temps seem normal.

You can check and compare temperature between lid open and close, from past Razer Blade with dgpu Keyboard has thrown as well airflow on max load and probably intake the air as well on normal load. But since its cassis has function to take thermal as well I wouldn’t close it on heavy usage, the heat may defect the monitor in long term.
This comparison maybe helpful, even it’s on dgpu. I use my stealth 2016 with core v2 and 2080 (before 1080ti) always on open lid even on desktop task btw.

I also have the new Stealth 13 and have been gaming with the lid closed and an eGPU--the fans hardly even spool up, so I'm not worried about temperatures being too high.
Interesting report, thanks for that. Temps for normal tasks and light gaming seem to sit under 55-60 degrees on the CPU with lid closed.

I think I'll do some benchmarks tests with lid open and closed and write a report with the updated stealth to see.

Manly my concern was the chassis heat damaging the screen or melting the glue holding the screen bezel on over time (one YouTubeer had this issue) .

Maybe a question for Razer officially .

Would love to see a report!

Also, would you mind sharing the youtube video about the glue melting?

A lot of people spread stories about running the lid closed being dangerous for the screen, but it seems like it all stems from one story someone told on reddit about their screen being damaged while a blade was left running inside of a backpack--which is way different from running with a closed lid on a desk.
