razer is crap! got a bunch of razer products for my new gaming laptop and most of the have software or hardware problems. basilisk ultimate's USB dongle needs to be removed and re-inserted while the mouse is turned off, after every shutdown. also, after a few sec. of not moving the mouse, or watching a movie the mouse clicks are not responding. need to do CTRL ALT DEL for them to return... sometimes remove the dongle and re-insert... this time leaving the mouse ON.
also got 2x firefly v2 mouse pads and even though the computer recognizes both, you can adjust the colors of only one of them via the razer app. so basically one is always with the default wave while the other is programmable ... contacted razer but no response what so ever... also the mouse battery get to 0 very fast!!! my old microsoft or logitech were much better! and they are always on standby for whenever this shitty razer acts up.
it was a mistake wasting so much money on razer products!

Did you've tried RVU dongle on another computer (or at least another port)? Does it behaves the same? Also does the dongle is connected to USB port directly? Or via USB Hub?
It's not possible to have different Chroma settings, when you have the 2 (or more) same mousepads or other peripherals (the same PID_VID combination on each).

tried on another computer, proper PC... same issues.
tried directly to the PC and via HUB.
Never had any issue with other wireless mice.
It drives me crazy that I always need to make sure my mouse is turned off when I turn on my laptop, then plug out the dongle, re-insert it, turn the mouse back ON. and then I can start using the mouse... til I leave my PC for a while or watch sometime full-screen.
I tried making the low battery mode in the application longer, didnt help. I completely turned off the lighting effects to extend the battery life.

my logitech mouse with batteries lasts several months. and zero problems, not to mention everything works with only 1 dongle.

One more thing - go to Windows device manager, find your mouse & dongle and uncheck option for power saving (Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power).
With mousebutton 5 - check if it's properly bound in Synapse, or just create a new profile setting.

no solution here and no reply from razer so I've returned my first gaming mouse which was the most expensive (180$) mouse i ever used... and instead im using a 1$ mouse instead without problems! (not the same quality but, you get what you pay for, which wasnt the case with my razer basilisk ULTIMATE).
