Is it necessary for you to transfer everything over to the new drive? If not, then you can upload all the necessary files to a cloud storage service like GDrive, or move them into a thumb/flash drive. After backing up the files, you pretty much have to install Windows OS onto the 2TB SSD then transfer the files you backed up to the new drive.

I'm sure there are more elegant ways of doing it, but you will still need to install a new Windows OS onto the new drive. Anyway, I'll be moving the thread to our Systems boards. Maybe one of our enthusiasts can guide you through drive cloning and whatnot.
Get or borrow NVMe Enclosure. Use a cloning software, I had samsung and they have a very good one. Cloned and installed the 1TB no fuss. The 512Gb now serves as my back up windows drive in case anything happens.
