Cortex locks up Windows 10

Hey y'all,

I've been using Cortex to clear my ram since before Synapse 3 came out. I've recently upgraded my rig and since then Cortex has frequently locked up Windows from the moment I use the boost function. This problem persists after a hard restart. Windows will become unresponsive, unable to shutdown/restart, applications persist in the taskbar after closing them.

Previous rig specs:
Ryzen 7 3800x
MSI X470 gaming pro carbon
16gb 3466MHz cl16 ddr4 (2x8gb)
HP ex920 1TB m.2 NVME Boot drive
RTX 2070 Super

Current rig specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x (200MHz boost offset and 25mv undervolt.... my 3800X had a faulty IMC after cooler mount failure)
MSI X570 ACE
16GB 3600MHz cl16 ddr4 (2x8gb) //previous kit was damaged due to aforementioned cooler failure
Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB m.2 NVME Boot drive
RTX 2070 super

Regarding your issue, could you please try to reinstall the motherboard drivers, and see whether this works for you?

If this issue persists, could you please PM us your Cortex logs for us to further investigate this issue? I will send you a simple guide to help you collect and share your Cortex logs. Please ignore it if you do not need my assistance.
