"DeathStalker v2".... Failure of EPIC proportions.

First, let be clear that those who like the style of the new v2, all the power to you, I'm simply expressing my views related to what's supposed to be the "Deathstalker".... The keyboard some of us are STILL using to this day, and it's literally the ONLY keyboard we can use.

1. For YEARS now some of us have been asking Razer to bring back the Deathstalker, but UPDATED to be a "Mechanical" Keyboard instead of Membrane, and to also update a few things.
- For example, give us a good soft Hand Rest instead of hard, not leather like though so we don't sweat, but one of I think of theirs which already exists, their good hand rests.

2. Why did we need a new version of the Deathstalker?
- We wanted the nice Gaming features of Mechanical Keys, etc.
- Some of us also NEED to have a "Chicklet" style Keyboard... Basically ALL Mechanical Keyboards today are using instead the Big Fat Clunky (going back to the Stone Age) Keys to us that we simply can't use in any sort of comfortable way.

Some of us as Typists have been using the Chicklet style of keys our whole lives, from Electric Typewriters, Data Entry at work, and with Laptops. Yes, these were also "Membrane" based keys, but the comfort of the keyboard "Design" is what really was important. We have thus simply wanted the Deathstalker to be updated so we can enjoy the responsiveness of Mechanical keys, have the good Gaming experience as others.

3. The Razer "Ornata v3" is already a "low-profile" keyboard. Sure, slightly different, but almost the same, and it's entirely UNUSABLE for me. I tried it and returned it.
I and many like me NEED a "Chicklet" Keyboard (or some might just prefer it)... and NONE exist, which is why we've been begging for YEARS for Razer to bring back the Deathstalker.

4. Instead, what do they do? They create simply another Dime a Dozen keyboard, a "low-profile" one, which even they themselves already have, as well as several other company's. I was looking at the "KEYCHRON K5 SE", but even it won't be good enough for me, and is much like the new v2 Deathstalker.

Razer just doesn't actually give us the original Deathstalker, just Updated and Modernized. Instead, they steal the Deathstalker name creating an entirely "different" Keyboard.

Again, nothing against them having such a keyboard.... but it's NOT the Deathstalker.
And I get some current Deathstalker users might be just fine with the new design, but again, low-profile keyboards are already now pretty well-established, and the Deathstalker was different, it was a particular NICHE, a particular design that still only exists with junk keyboards like the RedDragon or a few "work" keyboards, but none that are designed for GAMING.

So instead of actually fitting that niche like we've been BEGGING Razer to do for YEARS, they just SHAFT US...

Needless to say... I'm massively UNHAPPY...! :(
I now have to STILL pray to heaven that my v1 Deathstalker doesn't DIE.... because when it does, I'm literally ******...!

Shame on Razer...

Sincerely, Lee

I'm speechless mate, what you said is true, no caps, but Razer does make stuff with current market trends and some with a community fan base.
What I can say is praying only is not enough. if somehow you can collect all those people that have the same vision for death stalker as you describe it or with some added feature its possible our BOSS @mltan could hear us. Just like kitty ear for Razer headphone from a few years back.

What I wish before was Razer Ouroboros with a newer feature until today. Nothing I can do about it because of market trends sliding to lighter mice, simple design and ergonomic.
